This combo kit pairs the D2700 AGM starting battery with an SB500-27 SuperBANK ultracapacitor wired in parallel. Second-generation Cummins trucks draw enormous current through the grid heaters and starter on a cold morning, and the SuperBANK dumps a burst of current the instant the starter engages, then recharges in seconds — keeping voltage up so the starter, grid heater relays and factory wiring see far less sag. The D2700 brings 4,300 max amps and 239 minutes of reserve capacity for accessory and winch loads. Two sets of 580 short brass post adaptors are included to convert the M6 terminals on both units for clamp-style OEM cables.

The SB500 delivers a surge of power to the factory 12-volt battery as it cranks, then rapidly recharges (usually in only a few seconds), ready to use again. The improved and stabilized voltage leads to longer-lasting factory batteries, starters, relays, and engine control modules, improving reliability and lowering the likelihood of costly repairs.
Ultracaps (aka Supercapacitors) also work extraordinarily well in extreme hot or cold. In winter, the Ultracap delivers a much-needed burst of energy to vehicles using a typically slow-cranking AGM battery. Return Policy & Warranty Request
- RETURNS & EXCHANGES: For items purchased online, returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date (unless purchased B-Stock). To initiate a return or exchange, please fill out the form below to receive a return authorization (RMA) number. Be sure to include the item’s order number and your reason for the return or exchange. Returns or exchanges that are shipped without authorization may not be accepted. Please allow up to 10 business days for your refund to be processed once we receive your return or exchange.
- Return Shipping: Return authorization for items shipped in error, or items being returned/exchanged because they are defective or damaged, will include a pre-paid shipping label. Return shipping on items that are being returned/exchange for other reasons will be paid for by the customer.
- Eligible Items: The following items: Clearance items, final sale items, special-order items, custom products and gift cards are not eligible for return/exchange. We reserve the right to refuse any return/exchange, at management’s discretion, if the item being returned/exchanged does not meet the criteria set forth within this policy.
- Condition Of Items: Except for items that were damaged when purchased, items may be “open box” but must be unused, undamaged, and complete with all original packaging.
- Form of Payment: Refunds, if issued, will be issued in the original form of payment minus shipping and handling fees unless otherwise stated. If the original form of payment is unavailable, store credit may be issued at our discretion.
- Restocking Fee: Except for items that are returned/exchanged for being damaged or defective, to cover the cost of inspecting, repackaging, and restocking certain items, a restocking fee of 15% (or the maximum amount permitted by law, whichever is less) may be assessed for any and all returned items. The restocking fee (if charged) will be deducted from the refund amount, if any, where permitted by state law.
