AGM Batteries
We pride ourselves in offering the highest-performing energy storage solutions, and we have perfected AGM batteries. Using 99.99% virgin lead, you won't find a higher performing AGM battery anywhere else! From direct-fit options to custom sizes, our 12-volt, 14-volt, or 16-volt batteries are the premier choice for your automotive needs.
Why AGM
An AGM battery holds its acid in a fiberglass mat pressed between the lead plates instead of leaving it loose in the case. That single change is what makes the rest of the list possible.
Sealed and spill-proof
No free acid and no venting under normal use. Mount it in the trunk, on its side, or anywhere a flooded battery is not allowed.
Vibration tolerant
Compressed plates and mat separators resist the shock loads that shed material off a flooded plate on rough roads and race surfaces.
Low internal resistance
Higher cranking amps and less voltage drop under load, which is what keeps lights, ECMs and amplifiers stable during a hard pull.
Deep cycle capable
More runtime than flooded batteries allow you to run your components for a longer period of time between charges.
Holds charge on the shelf
A low self-discharge rate means seasonal vehicles and race cars sit for months and still crank when you get back to them.
Zero maintenance
Nothing to top off, no terminal corrosion from acid mist, no watering schedule. Install it and forget it.
Find Your Series
Every AGM we build starts from the same chemistry. The series tells you what job it was tuned for.
D-Series
The flagship starting battery. Direct-fit BCI group sizes for daily drivers, trucks and heavy audio builds.
Shop D-Series →S-Series
Race-weight AGM for drag, circle track and time attack cars where every pound and every crank counts.
Shop S-Series →PS-Series
Powersports sizing for UTVs, side-by-sides, bikes and sleds. Vibration tolerant and mountable in any position.
Shop PS-Series →XP-Series
Auxiliary and secondary power for accessories, winches, camp gear and rear-mounted audio banks.

AGM vs. Flooded
The comparison most customers are actually making when they land on this page.
Common Questions
What actually makes an AGM different?
The electrolyte is absorbed into a fiberglass mat held against the plates instead of sitting loose in the case. The battery is sealed, cannot spill, and the plates stay in contact with acid regardless of how the vehicle is moving.
Can I mount it on its side?
Yes. AGM batteries are sealed and non-spillable, so they can be mounted in any orientation other than upside down. That opens up trunk, rear-seat and under-bed locations a flooded battery cannot use.
Do I need a special charger?
AGM batteries want an AGM-specific charge profile. Our IntelliCHARGERS are matched to each voltage, and 14V and 16V batteries require the matching charger — a standard 12V unit will not fully charge them.
Is AGM a drop-in replacement for my factory battery?
In most cases yes. Our D-Series is built to BCI group sizes, so it lands in the factory tray under the stock hold-down with the stock cables. Terminal adaptors are available where post style differs.
How does AGM compare to lithium?
AGM gives you high cranking amps, wide temperature tolerance and no BMS to manage, at a lower cost. Lithium wins on weight and cycle life. For most street, audio and powersports builds, AGM is the simpler answer.
